I have a plan to post every day, but I've been scheduling ahead and not keeping up with the present - no matter. This is from a trip to the Field Museum in Chicago, but I forgot to get a photo any text describing it. It's a prehistoric amphibian living in an ecological niche much like that of the modern alligator, possibly Megalocephalus(?).
